Ethical or social issue associated with Information Technology in the modern business world and:  To describe the issue and the problems it may cause  To identify some possible solutions to combat or alleviate the problems caused. Students, in groups of two (2), maximum three (3), will prepare a 1,000-word report based on the issue that has been assigned. This assignment will require each group to research the issue in books, magazine and newspaper articles, academic journals, and on the Internet, then write a general report about the issue. The group also has to present their work using PowerPoint slides in a scheduled lab. The purpose of this assignment is to enable students to critically evaluate some of the major issues confronting IT users in organisations today, and gain some experience of researching, and presenting their findings in a meaningful way.
