Assignment title: Management


Scenario You are the Marketing manager for well-known Multi National Company. In a Business environment which is constantly changing, the only constant is change, where brand reputations are won and lost with the click of a mouse and economic problems that originate far from home can disrupt local buying patterns, marketing planning is more important than ever.  The assignment should focus on a part of the organisation in the chosen industry.  It is advisable to choose only a part of the organisation rather than the whole organisation.  The assignment should be based on a specific company. This means, for example, that if the assignment is based on the food sector, the work must be focused only on ONE relevant organization of that sector, such as Tesco, or any other one. Prepare a Marketing Plan for your organisation that will include: 1. an-depth audit and critical evaluation of the company's current marketing activities; incorporating recommendations for improvement. 2. a critical assessment of the potential impact on the company of emerging external business--environmental issues. This requires students to use the analytical tools studied in order to create a clear picture of the organisations "fit" within the external business environment and then to create linkage between internal environment and external environment to maximise strengths and opportunities and to minimise threats and weaknesses
