Assignment title: Management

Message : The problem centers upon how to find the X and Y axis coordinates used in load distance and center of gravity computations. Our textbook really isn''t very clear about this discussion in the Supplement of Chapter 7. In fact, even some additional resources that I have located for your use (see below) really are not very clear at all. In actual use the X and Y axis are determined from a location's latitude and longitude. This is normally given in degrees, minutes, and seconds. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is used to compute these x-y coordinates. To simplify things these complicated locations are given a numerical value of a single whole number. For example E 6° 22" 32 (the X coordinate) 5° 7'' 33" (the Y coordinate) would become something like this: 200 (x) 50 (y). To keep this simple and to give everyone an equal advantage and level playing field, let''s use the below for our case study: Here are a few additional resources for you: https://www.scribd.com/doc/29982776/40/Load-distance-Method http://www.prenhall.com/divisions/bp/app/russellcd/PROTECT/CHAPTERS/CHAP09/HEAD06.HTM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFj0GvgQLHs http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=road+map+of+western+europe&go=Submit+Query&qs=bs&form=QBIR#view=detail&id=D5D3740A76E1FDF9FD8B208B516BE9B187389052&selectedIndex=0 This should help you out here. Reminders, the discussion board initial posts are due on Thursday, responsive posts are due on Sunday as is the case study. My expectations for the case study are a full APA report. You are on the staff of AAI and are making a report with analysis to the senior management. This should include your full analysis and descriptors (highly suggest graphics, tables, etc. to illustrate your points) and recommendations. You are expected to include within your analysis a weighted analysis, a load-distance analysis and a center of gravity analysis. The key is then compare all three methods and determine if the three indicate something different as an output and you're your recommendation is and of course the why. This should be professional in the content and presentation.
