You will create a synopsis (summary) of the Human Resource Management (HRM) practitioner and academic research on a HRM topic (see topics below). You should create your synopsis as an essay. You must include at least 10 relevant academic references (since the year 2005). The synopsis must not exceed 1000 words, it should be 1.5 spaced, 11pt font, with Margins 2.5cm. Include all in text and end text references as per the Murdoch guidelines You may use Chicago or APA referencing. Topics : 1. What major demographic changes are likely to affect organisations (or an organisation of your choice) in the near future? How can HR planning help organisations successfully deal with these changes? 2. What are the sources of legal obligations in employment law? 3. What Job design principles for knowledge workers in an industry or organisation of your choice would you use? Why? 4. Is the use of social networking sites for recruitment in an industry or organisation of your choice advisable? 5. What are the major social and economic consequences of the casualisation of the workforce? 6. Why should management be concerned about job stress? What can human resource management do to reduce job stress? 7. What actions for the human resource department would you recommend to implement to minimise the glass ceiling (Diversity) in an industry or organisation of your choice. 8.
