Skillage I.T. is a IT Service support company providing services to customers in many different areas. For example, customers can have access to services such as… a) Online backup – Skillage I.T. provides server space and connection so businesses may backup their important data off site. b) Online payment processing – Skillage I.T. provides EFT services, processing payments and managing communications with payment providers and the banks. c) Online shopping – Skillage I.T. provides a simple shopping service where customers can list their items for sale on our web portal and their customers can browse and purchase utilising our infrastructure. d) Web site design and hosting – Skillage I.T. offers customers a complete package of website design, development, testing and hosting on our servers. We conduct a design meeting with a customer and build a website to their specifications. You are an application developer within Skillage I.T. A customer would like a solution created by Skillage I.T. The customer is a Financial Management organisation named "Money-B-Mine" and is offering customers detailed share information. They are looking to create a new service to support the analysts in-house by being able to review historical data in many varied formats. In creating this new service, an opportunity has been discovered to provide a separate service to customers, which is detailed in the supplied documentation. Meetings have been held with key stakeholders and transcripts are available for your review. These transcripts provide the basis for your development of the solution. As a developer for Skillage I.T. you have been tasked with the design and development of an initial solution to be presented to the customer as phase one. (More detail about these phases is provided in the supporting documentation.) Using your new knowledge in the areas of the development lifecycle, the .NET framework, data management functions utilising Java, and testing, provide a solution for the customer to specifications outlined in the transcripts and documentation. You are free to include any other creative or design decisions ensuring to document and explain them fully.
