EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
March 2015-Present: R&D Technology Manager, MARS GCC, Dubai, UAE
o In charge of all the technical faucets of all product and process innovation projects (quality, growth, efficiency and capability) in line with product portfolio and organization goals/strategies while supervising the delivery of all innovation projects across all technologies, the commissioning, validation, documentation, start-up of all new products/technology launches in addition to coordinating new products/material trails and orchestrating commercialization plans.
o Handle recipe translation of products and ensure that lines are running to legal requirements while conducting a Lean/6 sigma improvement program.
August 2010 –March 2015: Industrial Engineering Manager
o Oversaw the analyzing and optimize resources (assets, labor, expenses), led improvement plans to maintain factory competitiveness with profitable growth combined with the management of innovation projects along with marketing champions to deliver the brands strategic objectives (net sale, market share and gross margin after conversion) doing so through innovation and activities management process.
o Superintended the project team leadership which included; ensuring the smooth execution through effective project management while leading process, product/organizational improvement projects, strategies combined with guiding the cross functional teams in capacity, capability in addition to the efficiency of projects from design to execution according to the global best practices and standards (capital range K200- M10 USD).
o Managed the execution of the IPP program (A Mckinsey &Co.) for Ideal Plant Program which resulted in a savings in labor by 30%, efficiency by 10% and the reduction of non-quality costs by 2%.
o Orchestrated the implementation of continuous improvement process (Kaizen) which promoted ideas along with continuous improvement culture in the shop floor. (The process has been adopted by the MARS University at a global level) while establishing a BIC global bench marking study that generated the long term improvement road map for critical business priorities of efficiency, cost, productivity and freshness.
February 2007-August 2010: Operations Manager, Dubai Plant
o Selected to lead the production team ( 30 associates with 200 contractors) to deliver the production business commitment, by providing high quality products at the best consumer service level with optimized costs in a safe environment and to engage all production associates at the highest level with defined Key Result Areas.
o Successfully advanced performance of the factory, monitored production cost, managed production budgets, ensured legal compliance to the local regulations and meeting Mars Standards set for the factory (GMP, GHP, HACCP, and CCP's).
o Ran the FMOS (Factory Manufacturing Operating System) to generate Failure Root Cause Analysis culture which consisted of conducting weekly/quarterly factory performance review, sponsoring all other FMOS forums that took care of escalation as well as FRCA management, combined with evaluating then reporting to the factory performance indicators on shift basis and periodic basis to complete the business plan in terms of quality, volume and costs.
o Implemented continuous improvement program through PDCA process along with the development of KPI oriented Personal Development Program for production team that resulted in improved engagement results and has driven improvement in all operational aspects of (Quality, Safety, Efficiency and Cost) due to the success of this the tool has been adopted by several MARS factories worldwide.

November 2003-February 2007: Production Line Manager, Dubai Refreshment Company, (PEPSI), Dubai, UAE
o Key player in designing along with carrying out PEPSI Co. performance management tool (M&W) in Dubai Refreshment Company in addition to operations management as well as performing the regular reporting on a consistent basis combined with performance scores and trend for twenty manufacturing KPIs in five areas (HSE, Quality, Product Availability, Waste Elimination, and Productivity).
o Oversaw production lines- (Can, NRB and PET) to assure compliance with standards by reviewing, updating and optimizing work processes while effectively maintaining the manufacturing module (BOM, Production) in ERP system.
o Controlled the flow of raw materials as well as finished products combined with interfacing with our sales/ marketing team for the execution of volume forecasts of 3 bottling locations and generated the weekly forecast along with the daily schedule for more than 100 SKUs.
o Stayed in communication with our logistics department in the allocation as well as the deployment schedule of finished goods to satellite warehouses while confirming the sufficiency of well-trained manpower based on forecasts/future demands and planning for all potential training needs of the production department
o Accomplished the advancement of company ratings to green (best on the scale) in manufacturing and Warehousing Performance Management System also achieved the reduction of out of stock percentage from 0.1% to 0.05 % in addition to increasing lines efficiencies from 60% to 80 % also reduced manufacturing cost per case by 35 %.
April 2001-Nov. 2003: Production Line Manager, Jordan Ice and Aerated Water Co, (PEPSI CO), Amman, Jordan
o Directed the management of production lines (Can, RB and PET) combined with the supervision of 150+ employees (supervisors, technicians, operators) which included organizing, planning, prioritizing work activities and compiled schedules/orders, such as personnel assignments, production, work flow, maintenance along with repair.
o Headed the process of implementation of performance improvement (M&W), achieved a reduction of labor cost by reducing lines crew and sustained green rating (best on the scale) of the performance management system combined with the introduction of standard operating procedures.
