You are required to identify the skills needed in the Customer Service Centre by reviewing relevant Council plans and access and equity policy (provided in Appendix A). You also need to review the skills currently available within the team, as well as how the team is structured in order to identify improvement opportunities. Your report should clearly show an interpretation of market statistics to address the following criteria: 1. Review of current business plans identifying:1.1. Predicted areas of organisational growth1.2. Predicted areas of organisational downsizing1.3. Labour skills requirements1.4. The link between the plans and workforce planning2. Analysis of existing workforce identifying:2.1. Current skills and skills gap2.2. Diversity requirements2.3. Capacity to meet predicted demands on services (staff numbers, team structure, skills availability)2.4. Staff turnover3. Labour supply availability identifying:3.1. Demographics of labour supply pool3.2. Economic profile of labour catchment area3.3. Forecast human resource (population) supply – this should include:• a minimum of two labour forecasting techniques: • either qualitative techniques such as ratio analysis, time series analysis or regression techniques • and/or quantitative techniques such as estimates, reviews, succession plans, vacancy analysis or judgmental analysis4. Improvement opportunities5. Workforce strategy including key milestones for each of the following: 5.1. Objectives for the FCC workforce (modifications and/or retention)5.2. Conduct a briefing with a key stakeholder regarding your plan and seek their agreement. You will need to ask a family member, friend or colleague to act as the stakeholder. You must brief them thoroughly regarding the requirements of the role play. You must submit either an audio or video recording of the briefing. Your audio or video recording must meet the following criteria:• the recording should be carried out as per the instructions in the Open Colleges 'Digital Recording Handbook' found on OpenSpace • the audio or video length should be no longer than five minutes.The stakeholder must be engaged in the briefing and provide their approval. This may be achieved through:• asking direct questions• seeking input or suggestions.
