Assessment 3: Individual Project (Part 2) Length: 2250 words In this assignment you will be evaluating implementation and continuous improvement methodologies as they relate to the business process change you identified and evaluated in Part 1(MAH261014_4845_42264). Instructions: Section 3 (word limit: 750–1000) Complete the assigned readings and conduct your own research to identify an organization for analysis for your business process change document. 1. Assess one specific activity to be performed within the process change of Woolworths (topic of process change is; find out a solution that people can't abundant shopping trolleys everywhere. What the organization is doing?). From the assessment, identify the task being evaluated. Where that activity would be performed within the organization? Who would perform the task, and who would manage measure and evaluate the task completion? Make sure you arrange this information under separate headings. (Don't place the information in a large block paragraph). 2. Describe the differences between measuring human performance and task completion. 3. Explore Six Sigma as a method used to evaluate, measure, and encourage continuous improvement. From this exploration create a fishbone diagram that addresses one risk, a potential defect or a problem that may result from the change, which may impact goal attainment. 4. Address the value of your fishbone diagram as a visual representation. Section 4 (word limit: 750–1000) For this section your goal will be to evaluate and discuss metrics for measuring performance and task completion in the change process. 1. Describe at least three (3) key performance indicators (KPIs) for the selected process change that must be continuously measured to ensure success. Ensure you separate out each KPI (don't put your answers into a single block paragraph). 2. Metrics are performance markers, used at different intervals during the process timeline, to measure adherence to schedules and attainment of goals. Conduct research to compare and contrast Six Sigma, the Balanced Scorecard and ISO 9000/9001 as different methods for preparing performance and completion metrics. 3. Recommend one of the three methods evaluated in Question 2 for your change process. 4. Give reasons for your recommendation. Section 5 (word limit: 400–500) This is the last section of the process change document. You are required to: 1. Produce a flowchart describing the entire change management plan. 2. Provide a concise summary of the entire change management plan (Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4).
