As part of your answer you should make reference to the relevant financial statement and use no fewer than three ratios.Students should make some general comments about the balance sheet and the increase in total asset values from 2013 to 2014. They may also discuss the items of significant change which include significant increases in inventory, other current assets intangible assets and deferred tax assets. The cash position has however deteriorated. (2-3)Some comment on the debt structure (2-3)Some comment should also be made about the debt to equity ratio and the working capital ratio. Students should explain the significance of these ratios. Calculation of the debt to equity ratio, debt ratio and interest cover ratio may should be included as part of the discussion.
