Assignment title: Information

1. Collect data from at least two of the methods discussed in class (e.g. digitising, GPS, internet download, etc we will show you where to get more information. The main source will be Auckland Council GIS Viewer which will let you download aerial photos and other GIS data, we will show you how to do this, but ask if you are not sure). 2. Demonstrate clearly that you have used at least two but preferably three or more forms of geoprocessing spatial analysis (e.g. buffer, clip, union, intersect, dissolve, 3D, viewpoints etc). You should, for the purposes of this exercise and more marks, show a series of maps showing the staged outputs of each geoprocessing function and include a diagram of the stages in geoprocessing used, preferably using the ArcGIS Model Builder. The model builder will also allow you to quickly repeat the analyses if necessary or apply it to other areas and issues. Correctly format maps with legends, scale, north arrow, datum/projection, disclaimer (e.g. this map should not be used for navigation), logos, and in fine print - acknowledgements of data sources, your name as the geospatial analyst and include the other key elements
