Your assessor will remain available to support you throughout the assessment process. Written work Assessment tasks are used to measure your understanding and underpinning skills and knowledge of the overall unit of competency. When undertaking any written assessment tasks, please ensure that you address the following criteria:  address each question including any sub-points  demonstrate that you have researched the topic thoroughly  cover the topic in a logical, structured manner  your assessment tasks are well presented, well referenced and word processed  your assessment tasks includes your full legal name on each and every pageRead each question carefully and answer the questions in approximately 150 to 175words. You need to ensure that you give clear answers with examples and reference any websites or resources you access to research your answers. The question bank is divided into sections that relate to the unit of competency, the different elements of competency and required knowledge. You must answer each question correctly. The following questions and assessment tasks establish your underpinning knowledge in this unit of competency When you are developing a business plan you must be able to  Review and evaluate pre-existing strategic, business and operational plan, if available  Analyse and interpret business vision, mission , values and objectives  Consult with key stakeholders  Review market requirements for the product or service  Develop performance objectives and measures  Identify financial, human and physical resources  Consider any permits or license that may be required for new activity Identify an existing Business plan that you are familiar with or that you have developed for an organisation i) Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the business plan you have developed ii) Do a detail research on the following to assess the fit of the plan to its internal and external environment a) How will you consult with key stakeholders to analyse and interpret the business vision, mission, values and objectives of the organisational unit b) How will you review your customer needs and the requirements for the service or product including possible costing /pricing options c) Do some competitor analysis of your business plan d) What are the performance standards established or expected within the organisation e) How will you coach and communicate any under performance in the work group f) What are the financial ,human and physical resource requirements for your organisational unit 3) After you have developed a business plan how will you evaluate the effectiveness of your business plan using performance indicators (KRA's and KPI,s )
