Your Project is the installation of a Base Station for an operator of Mobile Communications Systems. You play the role of Project Leader from the Project Development Department of that operator. The installation is to take place aboard all carriages of the trains running on the line in between Lisbon and Oporto, in order to provide WiFi access to passengers. You should assume that the operator won a bid launched by the train company for providing the WiFi service on board. You should clearly identify all entities with which you have to interact and their roles, following the project description given at the class. General Component simulating a fictional project that you manage using MS Project. Your Project should present: objectives, framework stakeholders, requirements, quality control, risk assessment and contingency plan, communication plan, work breakdown structure, resource allocation, cost analysis, responsibility matrix, Gantt chart, and Pert diagram. This report should have a maximum of 10 pages in the main body, plus eventual annexes (containing all supporting information) . plus the MS Project file. We only want two files! You need to justify all relevant decisions taken, and stress interesting details about your own Project. You need to "play" with the resource costs using only three different costs associated to three different categories of people: 50 € / hour; 75 € /hour and 100 € /per hour. Projects will be evaluated by: 1 – Structure; 2 – Content (project management approach, innovative details, critical distance, and technical rigor); 3 – Synthesis; 4 – Quality of writing; 5 – Context (contextual approach to your Project ).
