Assignment title: Information

Corruption: The international evolution of new management challenges. Managers today must deal with navigating through regional and country differences in ethical norms and laws. While globalizations tend to advance the adoption of generally accepted business practices, it also forces these differences in ethics and laws into sharp focus. 1. Corruption in the international context is sometimes defined as "Private gain in exchange for a public good." Analyze the causes of corruption. Why has corruption been greater in countries with extensive government regulation? Provide support. 2. Where would you draw the line you personally would not cross between acceptable gifts and unacceptable bribes? Would it vary across countries? By situation? Provide support for your answers.
