our project is to choose a country that is considered by GEM – in recent times - to be one of the least entrepreneurial countries in the world (having Total early-stage Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) scores less than 10) and come up with strategies that the respective government could do in order to drive entrepreneurship in that country. MY ASSIGNED COUNTRY : NETHERLANDS You will be required to have the following: 1. Pertinent facts about the country: a) Population; b) Ethnic make-up and primary languages spoken; c) GDP/GNP; d) Poverty level and cost of living; e) Primary imports/exports; f) Ease of Doing Business (World Bank Ranking); g) How it ranks with neighboring or regional countries; h) Identify any comparative advantage(s) it may have; i) Any other facts that could be causing the low levels of entrepreneurship in the country. 2.
