Flat Plate Design (Weighting: 15%)
Repeat the example in Section 8.7 of the book Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete –
Analysis and Design with emphasis on application of AS 3600-2009 by Loo and Chowdhury
(2013) with the following specifications:
fc′ = 32 MPa
the end spans in the x and y directions = 8 m (instead of 10 m)
the interior spans = 10 m (instead of 12 m).
Note that the modified Figure 8.7(1) incorporating the above changes is given as follows.
