Assignment title: Information
are to present an innovative and inspiring presentation in answer to the following question;
What is Leadership?
This question is purposefully general. There are no right or wrong answers. You are to
research leadership and present what you believe leadership to be based on given your
knowledge from the course and any practical experience you have.
• Group members for this assessment will be allocated by your lecturer in week 2.
• Groups will be of 3 or 4 people.
• Presentations in class will take place in weeks 11 and 12.
• This assessment requires working together as a group to prepare slides and
presentation content. All members must take a demonstrable and active part in both
preparing and presenting which should be seamless.
• Marks will be awarded on an individual basis and so contribution by all group members
together with group cohesion is important for good performance. This means that each person
needs to take part in the presentation and will be assessed on their presentation performance as
well as the actual slides that they present.
• To help the assessment process, groups may wish to furnish their lecturer with a hard copy of
their presentation just before they present.
• Groups are urged to practice their presentation beforehand and the marking rubrics below will
guide you in this.
• As with all scholarly work, relevant citing and referencing is essential.
