Assignment title: Information

Milestone Three Guidelines and Rubric Overview: It is important to discover best practices and strategies for the demographic group that you identified in the achievement gap. Once these strategies and best practices are implemented it is important to provide activities for a school and community to promote diversity. When collaboration between educators, a school, the community, and families is achieved, the achievement gap will lessen. This assignment will give you experience with researching instructional practices to meet the needs of the demographic group you chose, and experience in providing recommendations to a school and community to promote diversity. Prompt: In Critical Task: Recommendations, you will make recommendations to various audiences for how they could contribute to closing the achievement gap for the specific demographic group. Make recommendations explaining how a school could contribute to closing the achievement gap for students in the specific demographic group. Also make recommendations as to how communities can contribute to closing the achievement gap for students in the specific demographic group. In Developmental Capture: Instructional Practices, you will explore your ideas about instructional practices to meet the needs of diverse student populations, inclusive curricula, and varied assessments to meet the needs of all students.
