From humble beginnings in 1972, dealing in gas cookers, typewriters, air-conditioners, Zawawi Trading Company LLC. is now one of the leading multi-faceted companies in Oman holding exclusive trading licenses for some of the world's most renowned companies. AUTOMOTIVE DIVISION
Over the years the company has grown from strength to strength and today, as the exclusive distributor for the entire range of Mercedes-Benz cars and Commercial Vehicles in Oman, it is one of the largest automotive dealers and market leaders in the executive and luxury car segment in the Sultanate of Oman.
ZTC currently operates Mercedes-Benz showrooms in Muscat and Salalah as well as a commercial vehicles aftersales facilities in Sohar and Haima to provide prompt and expert services to Mercedes-Benz owners.
NEW CARS SALES – THE SHOWROOM
The Mercedes-Benz showroom is a true landmark in the automotive trade in the Sultanate, combining high quality standards set by Mercedes-Benz with the traditional Omani building design philosophy. The Muscat showroom underwent a complete redesign which was unveiled in 2012. The facelift includes a new extended passenger car showroom and customer area, dedicated pre-owned ProvenExclusivity area and an air conditioned passenger car Active Service Bay with revamped integrated reception area. The Active Service Bay allows ZTC customers to look on in total comfort as their vehicles undergo world class servicing by Mercedes-Benz certified technicians.
The showroom also has a dedicated AMG space and a customer lounge with Mercedes-Benz lifestyle accessories on display. Above all, the Zawawi Muscat showroom provides customers with friendly, unobstructed surroundings to allow for ease of movement and also maximum flexibility in arranging the cars on consumer display. PRE-OWNED CARS
ZTC also offers a wide range of certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz cars under its Proven Exclusivity Program.
All cars undergo a thorough quality check by certified Mercedes-Benz technicians before they are offered for sale in order to consistently deliver the highest standards of quality and safety to our customers.
AFTER SALES (SERVICE)
ZTC's Mercedes-Benz Service Centre provides customers with premium service for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Most of the technicians, supervisors and customer-attending staff have received training from Mercedes-Benz – either in-house, at the Regional Centre in U.A.E., or at the factory in Germany.
The workshop has state-of-the-art facilities to match the product requirements. This includes site assistance for customers, courtesy car scheme, mobile workshop for on-the-spot attention, servicing at the customer's location for major fleet owners, drop-off service to customers leaving their vehicles at the workshop, as well as free technical inspection and repair estimates if the jobs are carried out at the workshop.
The whole experience of car servicing at Zawawi has been raised to set a whole new standard at the recently upgraded Muscat showroom and the Active Bay Service Area offers customers a unique aftersales facility. Mercedes-Benz owners can enjoy their favourite coffee from the premium coffee bar located in the reception and keep an eye out for their car while it's being serviced by Zawawi's qualified technicians. Car servicing is now a pleasure and no longer a chore!
On the commercial vehicle side of the after sales business, ZTC proudly boasts state of the art new service facilities in Sohar and Haima, bringing prompt, expert maintenance to Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle owners. In addition, a mobile workshop will bring peace of mind to customers within a 150 km radius of Haima including Muhuth and Duqum.

1. Mercedes-Benz Oman Launches Service Week in Salalah ahead of Khareef season

Muscat - Continuing to set the standard for safe driving in the Sultanate, Mercedes-Benz Oman has launched Service Week in Salalah to help customers prepare for the challenges of driving during the Khareef Season.
