You are required to develop an A3 poster which clearly identifies the topic you wish to research. This must be contemporary in nature and relate to your particular area of study. This forms part of a 5 minute poster presentation to staff. Please ensure that you utilise contemporary journal sources to identify the key themes related to your topic in the development of your work and explore each theme in depth utilising further contemporary journal sources. The poster should; • Clearly identify the topic and its contemporary nature using academic evidence and references to support your comments. • Evaluate how this has an impact on either health and social care, childhood, youth, community or family in the current social context. • Identify the key themes (debates or arguments) most worthy of exploring in relation to the topic. • Identify the key associated authors and journals examining the main debates. • Include references in accordance with UCB referencing guidelines. • Demonstrate evidence of planning for your assignment through engagement in the formative feedback process. Work should be presented as an academic poster format, this must include references in the text and a separate reference list. This is a POSTER assignment. I would like it really presentable and rich in information on the chosen contemporary topic. on one separate sheet I would like the notes to present the poster and be able to explain what is on it. On the second sheet it will be the reference list, at least 20 relevant references very updated. Please bear in mind that the assignment is mostly UK based.
