Property Problems to arise • If the employees are not notified then does this mean this information is their property and not the employers? • Will the results of this be used to justify automating jobs, moving the property from user to machine? • Accessibility Problems to arise • Who has access to this information • Information security • Information sharing Recommendation 3- Recommend a clear course of action in response to JJs' question and justify it based on an ethical theory. • Keep the employees informed of what data is being collected and the reasons for collecting this data. • Ensure if policy changes are to be made off this data then to make sure it is accurate over an appropriate period of time as to rule out data errors. • Explain the policy changes made from the data to the employees so that they can understand how their recorded actions have triggered the change. • Advise the employees that this data will be securely stored and inform them of the only users/departments which have access to view this data.
