Assignment title: Information
Online Assessment Network Server Design Document
Overview
The main function is for the manufacturing of the services and the applications that are important for the proper functioning from the enterprise network.
1 INTRODUCTION
The focus has been on handling the selection of the routing protocols with the proper zone topology and the server access layer design. While designing, Cisco recommends that there have been growth in the manufacturing zone which includes the IP address allocation and dynamic routing.
1.1 Purpose
Systems engineers and network engineers have IP addressing, subnetting, and basic routing knowledge.
1.2 Personnel Requirements and Staffing
The IP address is 32 bits in length and for this network portion of the address and then covers the Cisco routers and switches work.
1.3 Proposed Network Server
The server hosting is based on handling the DHCP in LAN which is for the assigning of the hosts from the centralised server. The setup is based on relay agent information which enable the standards for properly processing the tagging requests with the information.
1.4 Network Server Description
This includes the network server which includes the specifications IP address management and address space planning with the forecast of the IP address capacity requirements. This includes the network operating system with the server application along with data migration, Windows Server 2012R2 with proper testing and the auditing of the tools.
1.4.1 Hardware
Display Resolution 800*600
Memory 256 MB Windows XP
Processor Pentium III 800 MHz.
HardDrive 50MB
Operating System XP Windows.
1.4.2 Software and Network Operating System configuration
Software
This includes the IP address management with the proper documentation of the IP address and the network subnets. It also includes the size of the subnet with the assignment and the network device. For example: Ping Networking Utility is mainly to check the internet connectivity with the server and the LAN nodes.
Network Operating System Configuration
For this, there have been use of the Active Directory administration with properly designing the teaching patterns and the address space planning. There have been IP address which need the space and the costs that are associated to the support and the management of the IP address.
1.5 Server Security
The Cisco security monitoring and Response System are able to provide the security with the devices and the hosts applications. This is based on the optimisation of the wires and the wireless LAN with the growing and the ongoing centralised network.
