Details of Assessment Task Prepare a conservation/heritage management plan on a place of cultural significance in your local area or one you feel strongly about. Preparation You need to identify a place on which to base your plan on. Ideally, it should be one located close to where you live. You should include maps, photos and evidence of interviews as part of your cultural site management plan and your site assessment sheet. These can be added as attachments to your report. You should utilize the resources and documents available on the Australian Heritage Council website to assist in your plan preparation, in particular the 10 point plan, to help and guide you. Presentation Your assessment item need to be presented as a management plan (report), using the 10 steps as your category headings. The cover page (not the ACIKE Cover page) should identify the place on which the plan is based and include a statement of significance Pages should be numbered Report should have a contents page Photos and maps should be included where appropriate Attachments should be included in the appendices at the end of the report, including a complete site assessment sheet.
