You will need to select your essay topic and write a plan for your essay. This plan will indicate how you will address the topic and what information you will be including to address the topic. A significant part of the plan will be learning how to search for academic references, giving a brief summary of the references and using APA style referencing correctly. Research and referencing skills are an essential skill for university studies. While you may refer to general psychology textbooks for basic definitions you should use a minimum of 5 primary academic sources (which will be added to for your essay), such as academic journal articles and specialised academic books.
