In this module, skills and knowledge as well as the performance outcomes required to develop and monitor implementation of the operational plan to provide efficient and effective workplace practices within an organisation‟s productivity and profitability plans are covered. Management at a strategic level requires systems and procedures to be developed and implemented to facilitate the organisation‟s operational plan. LEARNING OUTCOMES Upon successful completion of this module, students will have an understanding of how to develop and implement an operational plan to ensure that the objectives and strategies outlined in the strategic and/or business plan may be developed by a strategic planning unit TEACHING PROGRAM The program is of forty (40) hours duration, comprising eight (8) hours per week for one teaching block of five (5) weeks. The program will consist of six hours of lectures and two hours of tutorials per week COURSE REQUIREMENTS To be assessed as competent for this unit of competency you must be able to do the following: (1) Demonstrate understanding of all learning outcomes (2) Successfully complete and submit all tasks as requested
