Case Study Helen is a lecturer at Charles Sturt University, with a focus on academic literacy and technology.Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art), Helen worked as a print studio technician and sessional lecturerin drawing and printmaking. She served in the Survey corps of the Australian Army, qualifying asTechnician Geomatic Grade 1, employed as a cartographic technician in photogrammetry, and later asan illustrator reprographic. She has over 12 years experience in art education and online and printpublishing, teaching drawing with a major American network, creating 'The Everything DrawingBook' with Adams publishing, and developing community art classes. With her artistic interest in thehuman condition shifting from the subjective to the objective, Helen is currently completing aGraduate Diploma in Psychology at CSU. Academic interests include Embodied Cognition and theExtended Self, Critical Psychology, statistics and R programming.
