Students will be placed in groups in the first class. Students are required to investigate an auditing issue selected from a range of scenarios The report should demonstrate: • Critical analysis of the problem and suggested solutions • Use of relevant case studies to support the analysis • Reasoned and persuasive argument using appropriate evidence, standards, legislation, etc. • Use of literature, including use of journal articles The choice of topic will be left to each student to select from a list of options provided by the lecturer. This is a project that will require approximately 16 hours of work and therefore it should not be left to the last minute for completion. Maximum word length is 3000 words.
