Q Your organisation is aware and pleased that you are completing your HND studies. To provide you with an opportunity to apply your learning practically, your supervisor/line manager asks you to answer the following questions about your department/organisation.

Answer all 6 questions:-

1. Identify the mission, goals, aims, objectives and strategy of your chosen department/organisation.

2. Using Deal and Kennedy's or Handy's classification, write one paragraph in which you identify the organisational culture prevalent in your department/organisation and provide justifications for your answer.

3. Explain briefly what you understand by the term 'business process'. 4. Identify key processes in your department/organisation and evaluate the interrelationship between the different processes and functions of the organisation.

5. Justify the methodology used to map the processes to achieve the department/organisation's goals and objectives.

6. Evaluate the output of these processes (identified in Q. 4 above) and identify and discuss the quality gateways.
