Q
You recently conducted some secondary research for your boss into a specific business sector on a theme related to CSR. Your boss has now asked you to team up with other consultants who have researched CSR in the same sector but not necessarily on the same theme.
Your boss wants your team to use your secondary research as a basis for primary research for a specific well-known company in the UAE (note: you will be assigned a company). The company communicated to your boss the following:
As a recognised company in the UAE, which is committed to CSR, it is very important for us that we meet our CSR objectives and that we can adjust those objectives based on changes in the external environment. It is also very important that our CSR activities are recognised by our various stakeholders as this is an essential part of our marketing strategy. We require you to conduct research on the suitability of our current strategy and its public dissemination. In addition, we request that you make research-based recommendations to us on how we can improve our CSR strategy and how we can communicate it more effectively. We require you to produce a research report to us as per the guidelines below.
