The main focus of the writing is to demonstrate good understanding of Merton's view of social structure and to analyse the factors that changed the modern family in terms of function and dysfunction, manifest and latent functions. 5. You should write concisely and keep to the length of 1,000 words. The essay should not exceed 1,000 words.
