Environment and Sustainability Consideration of environmental issues surrounding the development, production and use of your product or service. What is the product made from? Where will the components come from? Who and where will it be made? What are all the inputs and the outputs of the product? How will it be packaged and transported to market? What will happen to the product at the end of its life? Draw a detailed product life cycle, using the framework in the slides investigate an alternative ways you could produce the product or service using fewer resources and materials.. How could the product/service be powered more sustainably? Investigate future trends in materials and technologies. Design a prototype solution. Implications of Innovation in Society Create a timeline for your innovation, where do the waves sit? Match the dates and the drivers in a graph or chart. Work out where your innovation sits in the timeline and explain the rising technology that is driving your innovation. Which sectors will employ the people involves in your innovation – primary, secondary, tertiary, etc. What innovation competency will your industry adopt for your innovation? i.e. will your industry have to change production and markets.
