Mr Frank Hardy is a 69yo morbidly obese gentleman, who has a strong family history of high blood pressure and cancer and has been admitted to your ward following a suspected (L) CVA and angina episode. He lives alone and has minimal support networks. Mr Hardy has a personal history of heavy cigarette smoking, hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes. Last month, he was admitted to hospital with a severe chest infection that required a lengthy course of antibiotics. Previous to this acute admission Mr Hardy's health needs were managed by his local GP, his diabetes educator and an exercise physiologist. He has also been a regular outpatient with the hospital dietician. He is reluctant to mobilise, to use the bathroom and has not had a shower for 2 days. On entering his room, you introduce yourself and ask if he would like to sit out of bed for breakfast. He declines your offer stating that he isn't hungry and just wants to rest. You read his care plan and check his observation chart to obtain more information about his current health status. He is due for a set of observations and you perform this immediately but find the following results: T – 36.6 HR – 120bpm RR – 24 BP – 195/100 O2 saturations (percentage of oxygen in the blood) – 92% QUESTIONS: 1. If the observations listed below are considered the normal parameters (range) for adults, identify and list Frank's abnormal observations?
