This assessment item requires you to write a literature review on the topic of emerging business ethics issues. The formal topic will be provided in Moodle in Week 1. This will involve searching your course material, textbook, and online research databases for suitable, relevant material, which must be properly cited and referenced using the Harvard referencing method. The literature review is to be presented in a simplified report format, consisting of an introduction, the report body (the literature review), a conclusion and a reference list. The report must be fully referenced using the Harvard method. A link to the appropriate guide to the Harvard method is provided elsewhere in this course profile. The body of the report is not to exceed 1,000 words. To assist you in the assessment, a study group forum (which will be referred in Moodle as the Study Buddies forum) will be established in Moodle in Week 4. You will be placed in a group of 10 students, and you can use this group to discuss aspects of this assessment. The timeline for this assessment item is as follows: Week 1: Read the formal topic for this assessment, and begin collecting sources. Week 1: The study buddies forum comes online. Write a post introducing yourself to your fellow study buddies. Use this forum to share ideas on correct referencing and asking questions. Week 1: The assessment submission area comes online. You will be required to submit your document here by the submission deadline, which will be Thursday of Week 4. At this time, submissions will close and students will be notified that they have submissions to mark.
