Workplace project:Think of one example of a negotiation that you might become been involved in during a typical day in your role in the property industry. For example, you may negotiate: •a rent review for a rental property•with a purchaser on the amount they are offering for a property for sale•with a vendor or landlord on your agency's fees•with a tenant over their rental bond1. Describe the circumstances of the negotiation situation including who the parties are and what issues are involved. 2. Describe the style of negotiation that you believe would be the most beneficial to use in this situation. 3. What suggestions would you have for the timing and location for the face to face negotiation meeting in order to ensure an effective outcome?4. Using the stages of negotiation outlined in this manual, briefly describe what you would need to do during each of these stages for the situation you have nominated. You should include any points that you think would be critical to your success in each stage. 5.
