Assignment title: Management
The final project for this course is a two-to-three-page argumentative research paper that demonstrates the proper use of MLA style and formatting. While you must include a works cited page, this does not count as a part of the page requirement. There is no cover page. The final sentence of the first paragraph must be a clear, specific thesis statement, which the rest of the paper supports. A paper that does not include a clear-cut thesis statement will receive a failing grade. The research paper must be supported by, at least, three valid sources, including one scholarly journal article, which can be found by searching the Berkeley College library databases. All words and ideas belonging to other authors must in accordance with the rules of MLA in-text citation. Quotes should be brief and should contain significant language that directly supports the point you are trying to make; a paper filled with long, random quotes will receive a failing grade. On the final copy, points will be taken off for commas splices, fused sentences, sentence fragments, unparallel structures, and misplaced/dangling modifiers.
