The Public Relations Proposal should pitch and present a communication strategy to win a business or project. It should outline a public relations strategy for a selected client based on the Communication Audit from week 4 and Client Brief from week 6. It should have the following elements: 1. An introduction to the PR agency and success stories in similar projects 2. An analysis of the organisation, situation, issue, target publics and key stakeholders 3. Goal and objectives of the strategy; highlighting expected outcomes 4. A creative pitch and clear campaign message to win the business/project 5. A persuasive strategy including supportive evidence why strategy is suggested 6. Description of how the public relations strategy will be developed and implemented 7. Outline of suggested communication tactics and tools 8. Project management: timeline, costs, scope and team 9. A brief explanation of how the public relations strategy will be evaluated and measured Part (2): The Strategic PR Plan should have the following elements of a public relations strategy: Stage 1: 1. Analyse the situation 2. Analyse the organisation and the internal environment. Identify, describe and differentiate between multiple strategic issues 3. Analyse the publics and identify internal and external stakeholders Identify implication of each strategic issue for each stakeholder Stage 2: 1. Establish goals and objectives. Set communication goals (derived from the corporate communication strategy) 2. Formulate the corporate communication strategy (decode what must be communicated to strategic stakeholders & publics)
