Competency task 5 Preamble and Checklist. Instructions  Find three catalogued items from three different library types. Schools format, and two other formats, Academic, Public or Special. In your submission you will hand in the following:  Transcribe the descriptive cataloguing details from each library into the template provided .  Write notes on what differences there were with the items with copy cataloguing data found. You can head these notes Discussion or Issues. About half a page of discussion per item.  Using a package, Koha or Libraries Australia, or any other system of Library software– available as a free download on the internet, enter the three items into this package and print copies of your entries. Where can you get copy-cataloguing data? From the catalogue of any public, academic or school library. The library studies department also has SCIS online access with cataloguing examples, it also has Libraries Australia access and Library of Congress or OCLC.  Any questions or issues for each of the materials can be directed to your teacher. .
