You are an international marketing consultant to a client company of your choice in Malaysia/Singapore which is considering to expand into one of the 6 big emerging markets. The emerging markets by GDP are Russia, South Korea, Mexico, Indonesia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Write a report to the marketing management of your chosen company on the main factors you think needs addressing. 1. Critically discuss some of the possible added difficulties and complexities your client international marketing firm might face when attempting to enter the market for a product or service of your choice in one of the big emerging markets (BEMs). Explain how your client company could attempt to overcome the problems and complexities identified. Use specific examples to support the key points discussed. 2. Justify the use, importance and expense of a multinational marketing information system (MMIS) to marketing management. Explain the component parts of such a system and the type of information you would consider important to include in such a system. Use a systems diagram or figure to illustrate the points made. 3. Critically examine the main factors your client international marketing firm would have to take into account when planning pricing decisions within your chosen BEM. 4. Critically discuss the possible differences and likely additional complexities in integrated marketing communications strategy when your organisation begins operations in your chosen big emerging market. 5. Critically examine the challenges that your international marketing firm would have to consider in the branding process of the product or service to exploit potential business opportunities within the selected big emerging market (BEM)?
