Merge the downloaded data into a single file to represent electricity data for a complete financial year (January-December). Process the data (in MATLAB or Excel) to obtain the following: 1. Plot the yearly load duration curve. Determine the minimum demand, maximum demand, average demand and load factor of the system. How many hours per year the actual demand exceeds the average demand? What is the probability that the actual demand exceeds 120% of average demand? 2. Determine the annual energy traded (in TWh) and the annual revenue (in million dollar). Also determine the average cost of energy ($/MWh) in the wholesale electricity market. 3. Plot, compare, and analyse the daily load variation on two different days of a particular week (one on a typical working day and the other on a public holiday). 4. Calculate and plot the daily load variation for the year. Note that the load/demand at a particular time interval (say, 10:30) is the average load/demand of that interval (10:30) over the entire year. 5. Briefly describe various ancillary services.
