Our project is looking at starting a forestry industry in Nicaragua. As part of it, we want to look at the legal aspect of being a foreign investor and investing in Nicaragua versus it's competitors. Looking to evaluate the legal aspects around plantations or foreign investment for the following countries: 1. Brazil 2. Ecuador 3. Costa Rica 4. Guatemala 5. Nicaragua This could also include center government organizations (is there any assistance given to investors?), laws (anything around plantations or laws that could impact investors), policy for plantation investors.
