Essay question: Compare and contrast the development of nursing and nursing education in Australia and a country of your choice. The question, is in its simplest form, is asking you to give an overview of nursing practices in Australia and compare it to that of another country's nursing practices. It basically wants you to take the Australian National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse, the Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia and the Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and see if the other country has something similar. You could also take anothercountry who has a more primative system and why explain why Australia's is better. Read up on the three points the question wants you to include and start your research from there.
