Journal 1 to be submitted as single document (10% - 600 words) – Preliminary Report to implement new Information Systems Your journal task is to select any Health Information Systems (HIS) that are in use in a health care organisation (e.g. public or private hospitals or medical centres). You may choose any system that captures and manages information related to the health of individuals or the activities of organisations that work within the health sector. These HIS may be already implemented at any health care organisation of your choice or planning to implement. Your task is to develop a preliminary report that assesses the existing or potential HIS within the health care organisation and discusses the opportunity to introduce smart handheld devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets) to further facilitate the use of the existing or potential HIS. The assessment should focus on the various components of Business Systems covered in Module 1.
