Proper alignment of your paragraphs, and necessary page set-up. TASK 1 Evaluate a transaction and a decision support system of an organization in the banking industry. Each group should select any Banking organisation of their choice and prepare a report about a customer-oriented CRM system available from the Internet. Groups should look at businesses with a web presence and evaluate both (a) how they provide analytical tools for customers over the internet and (b) the information they collect from customers and how they might use it to better respond to and manage their customers. This report will serve as the basis for a 10 minute presentation/demonstration of the selected site. The content of the report should address these questions: 1. What decisions will be taken at strategic, tactical and operational levels of the organization? 2. What level(s) of management the system supports? 3. What are the roles of transaction processing in the system? 4. What transaction data the customers provide the system? 5. What are the examples of decisions the system supports? 6. Characterization of the support provided, including: a. What knowledge does it provide? b. What problem(s) does it solve during decision making? TASK 2 Obtain hard data from customers and analyse the data to determine if the system meets their requirements. Assessment All the assessment for this task will be on a group basis, and all members of the group will be awarded the same mark. The only exception to this will be as follows:  An individual who has consistently failed to contribute to the group may be penalised individually. In General, it is the responsibility of all members of the group to ensure smooth running of the group and to sort out any difficulties that arise. If serious difficulties arise within the group this must be brought to the attention of the tutor as early as possible. If during the above process, it becomes clear that one individual is consistently failing to contribute to the work then exception 2 above will be invoked. The report should include the following: Contents page Findings from research Evaluation of findings Conclusion Reference list (Harvard Style) Appendix • Supporting materials if relevant All the documentation must be processed with MS Word and of high quality. The above contents should be submitted in the form of a report with short descriptions and explanations wherever necessary. The report shouldn’t exceed 2000 words.
