It holds the key to unlocking the organization’s ability to learn faster than its environment is changing. In summary, learning and development lie at the heart of innovation in organisations. (Guest et al., 1997:3) (i) Briefly evaluate training and development of employees in the perspectives of the Models provided by Beer et al (Harvard) and Davana et al (Michigan) (ii) Explain how training and development can be used as a method of improving employee performance. A review of training evaluation is to be included (iii) Sometimes training and development can be unproductive as well. Give your critique about this and incorporate examples when appropriate.
