Information collected for this project are mostly publicly available data; however, we are
planning to contact the company to gather additional data and such data will be treated as
sensitive and used only for academic purposes. Collected data will not be used for teams’ profit.
We are fully aware that we are accountable for good ethical practice in our own research.
Effective engagement with ethics is largely a matter of common sense, courtesy, a grasp of the
notion of protection of and care for others, following guidelines or regulations and applying
experience.7

We have affixed our signatures to this Charter in good faith to declare that we have
collectively adopted the following ground rules as the guiding principles, and shall observe and
be fully bound by these principles throughout our studies in this semester:
1. We shall exercise a positive attitude, cooperate fully, avoid blame and apply our best
endeavours to maximise team's success. We shall promote close exchange of ideas and
knowledge.
2. We shall respect each other and communicate with each other professionally regardless of
our ethnicity, beliefs, cultural background, religion or other personal characteristics.
3. We shall apply professional integrity, honesty and consistency in performing our work;
we shall not allow our personal relationship to influence our performance or interaction
with one another professionally.
4. We acknowledge that responsibility for delivering the team's assignments resides with
every one of us and we are professionally bound to cooperate fully with one another to
complete the project work successfully as required by the College. It is our responsibility
to learn and to apply our knowledge to deliver our tasks.
5. Everyone of us shall participate in all team deliberations and shall respond promptly to

with a request to expedite the delayed work; we understand that failure to respond may
lead to our exclusion from the team.
7. One of us shall act as the coordinator for completion of each assignment (rotating role)
while also performing our allocated tasks. We shall fully cooperate with our coordinator
to complete each assignment in time. The coordinator shall take and distribute notes and8
record decisions and tasks. The coordinator shall receive and combine our individual

shall adopt effective communication and document sharing arrangements. All of us shall
apply the templates in preparing or reviewing individual contributions.
10. Everyone of us shall be tolerant of views of others. We shall calmly negotiate with one
another to resolve any differences; we shall exercise patience and be ready to compromise
in the interest of the team as a whole. Once a team decision is made to proceed in a certain
manner we all shall honour and implement that decision.
11. We shall assess our team's collective performance regularly and take action to improve the
same. We shall provide objective and supportive hints to one another. In addition, we shall
perform peer rating and self and peer competency assessments promptly and properly
after submission of each assignment.
