College of the Rockies TRMP 260 Budget and Proposal Writing Proposal Assignment: This assignment is worth 35% of your final grade! You have just been hired by a new recreation consulting firm. Your job is to bring new business into the firm. Your new boss has assigned you the task of writing a proposal either solicited or unsolicited. Your proposal is required to include the following sections: 1. Statement of Problem or Need (Executive Summary) 2. Table of Contents 3. Introduction 4. Background 5. Project Description 6. Supporting Material 7. Supporting Arguments 8. Budget 9. Authorization 10. References and Bibliography (if applicable) You will submit a paper of 10 pages (max) not including table of contents, appendices, bibliography etc. Your paper will have a maximum font size of 12. Please use Times New Roman or Arial font for the text of your paper. You will make a 30-35 minute presentation of the proposal in class.
