(You must choose 2 different accounting fields presented in weeks 2-5) Marking criteria: 1. Analysis and synthesis of information/knowledge/learning from a range of experiences/sources 2. Deliverables: 2 x 500-700 word reflection. Additional requirements: Formatting: Standard 12 point font, 1.5 line spacing, side margins 2.5cm wide. Referencing: All sources (ie the work and ideas of others) cited and referenced using a standard referencing system. Preparation/Instructions: Select the industry partner you would most like to work for. Please choose any one industry partners presented in Week 2 & 3 for the Reflection 2 (first submission) and Reflection 2 (second submission) will be on any one industry partner presented in Week 4 & 5. In summary, 1 industry partner from Week 2&3 and 1 industry partner from Week 4&5.Use the industry partner name, the week and the date as the title for your reflection, so that the marker knows which industry partner you are referring to. ❖ Describe the work environment as presented by the industry partner. ❖ Describe the role of an accountant as presented by the industry partner ❖ Describe the role that a new graduate employed by the industry partner would be expected to play in the organisation. ❖ Explain the skills and attributes required to work for the industry partner, in relation to your responses to the previous 3 points. ❖ Critique the extent to which your skills and attributes align with the skills and attributes required to work for the industry partner drawing on your personal experience. Formulate a strategy to address any areas in which your skills and attributes can be improved to better meet the requirements of this industry partner. Review your work. Make sure the structure of the paragraphs and sentences is clear. Fix spelling and grammatical errors. Make sure you have cited and referenced accurately. Submit your reflections to turnitin via the links below. Once you have submitted your reflections, check the originality report in turnitin and ensure similarity with other sources is referenced.
