Network Society:6
Network Society
Network: A network is a system of interconnected nodes.
Networks are functioning structures performing
programmed tasks.
Structures of networks are open and
dynamic.
Networks could be hierarchical.
Coordination and adaptiveness7
Network Society
Nodes: Nodes are the points where the curves intersect.
Nodes are the points where knowledge
accumulated.
Information flows into as well as from the
nodes.
Decentralisation and flexibility
Nodes are connected to the network,
yet they are autonomous.8
Network Society
Digital ICTs : is the backbone of the network society
Digital networking technology transcends
national boundaries and goes global.
It promises high speed and quality of
information processing and distributing.9
5G – internet of things
Infinite capacity10
