Marks awarded and feedback given was reviewed internally via the moderation process.
In 2015-16 the moderator commented as follows.
‘I agree with the marking of this course, the marking is consistent and in line with the grading
criteria. The feedback provided to students is very explicit and it is clear the marker spends a lot of time
providing constructive and clear feedback for all students on areas they have done well as areas for
improvement. Those students who scored low marks generally struggled to complete the SMART goals and
difficult to conceptualise and articulate the objectives along with generally low academic skills. However,
some students clearly enjoyed this course and they produced some excellent health Promotion activities
that were well thought out and well researched’.
Students assessments, the grades achieved were scrutinised by the External Examiner in
2015-6, who reported that there were no issues with this course.
