PURPOSE
The purpose of this individual assignment is to identify how a range of leadership theories, approaches and perspectives apply to organisational settings (Learning Outcome 1) and evaluate certain contemporary issues that include global leadership and leadership and change in the context of the environment in which organisations operate (Learning Outcome 2).

Apple's former CEO Steve Jobs was a hands-on leader, and with his recent death, many are wondering if the company he co-founded will continue with its string of very successful products. This has put a great deal of pressure on two men: Tim Cook, the new CEO, and Jonathan Ive, the Senior Vice-President for Industrial Design.

Conduct secondary research into the organisation (Apple) and Steve Jobs' leadership in the context of the environment in which the organisation operated during his tenure. Submit an individual report that (1) demonstrates how a range of leadership theories, approaches and perspectives apply to the leadership style of Steve Jobs at Apple, from the time the organisation was founded until his death in 2011. Also, (2) include an evaluation of Steve Jobs leadership style during his time at Apple in the context of the contemporary leadership issues of global leadership and leading change.
