Project Manager (Junior)
Treasury Cash Management Operations is responsible for safeguarding the cash assets of the Company through a robust control environment and excellence in operational execution on a global basis. Treasury’s Operational Initiatives Project Team is the functional area through which Treasury Cash Management Operations centralizes and coordinates initiation, management and execution of its global initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Treasury Operational Initiatives Project Team, the incumbent is responsible for the project management, development and implementation of Treasury related projects which impact Business Units across North America and Asia. Core responsibilities include identifying systematic and business solutions to business problems, managing resources, timelines and executing optimal solutions through a combination of systems development and process re-engineering. To be successful in this role the incumbent will need to have a solid understanding of project management, be an excellent team player and have the ability to learn quickly. The individual must be formally trained in project management processes, tools and techniques and be able to communicate effectively with senior management. The incumbent must be able to drive projects forward within tight timelines and often with conflicting and inter-dependent priorities.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead or oversee projects and programs within Treasury Operations that align with ongoing business goals
• Project planning and estimation of project components
• Resource management – assignment of resources according to skill set and aptitude
• Task management – providing direction and guidance to ensure projects are completed to requirements and meet quality assurance criteria
• Establishing and managing the budget for projects and project phases
• Facilitating the development of project scope and objectives
• Creation and maintenance of the project schedule
• Liaising between project team, project sponsor and client group
• Establishing risk and issue logging and resolution processes and resolve or escalate to management in order to keep projects on track
• Establishing and measuring project quality criteria
• Facilitating the evaluation of ideas and options, including assessing options and trade-offs
• Provide comprehensive, meaningful and timely reporting and analysis on status, resourcing and benefit realization
• Present updates and other project related material in large group settings including (but not limited to) team meetings, steering committee meetings and to senior management
• Work cooperatively with all required areas (business and internal/external stakeholders) and develop productive working relationships with key partners; includes working across multi-function business units and geographies to collaborate and deliver business value
• Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans to manage time and multiple projects effectively
Education / Professional Experience:
• Undergraduate degree or diploma
• Academic or professional training in project management
• Experience planning and/or delivering projects an asset

• Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Project and MS Visio
• Knowledge of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)
